My BSP set revealed…+ Giveaway to celebrate
Here it is at last! I m
ust say that I quite like the result… I would specially like to thank my BSP partner, Sonja for sending me such an array of colourful beads. At first I was like ‘Oh,my, goodness.I don’t even know where to start’ .You see, the way I work is like I start with a couple of beads or a colour palette. And then, I just let it take me to wherever the creativity will take me. And I add as I go. So even though it was a personal challenge , I gladly welcomed it and dearly enjoyed it :)
I wouldn’t be what you call a ‘necklace person’ but I just had to go for it! It is not a complex looking piece and yet is sophisticated (Well, I’d like to think so anyway). I hope the photos will speak volumes… Please after you have a wee look at my finished pieces, don’t forget to participate to my first ever giveaway on this new blog…I’d love it if you could participate, it’s quick and easy. See post below…
Now, Have a look. I hope you do like it…:)

Not making the most of such a gorgeous day (which doesn’t happen often in Ireland) would have been a crime and so it was decided that the pics would be taken outdoors
I hope you like the earrings as much as I do. I used the cord from the kit to make the tiny bows. Was tricky! I’m afaid I’ having a bit of a bow fever at the moment :) Everything’s got to come with bows! lol The glass pearls have been wire wrapped and match the center or the necklace where I added jump rings to ‘cap’ the pearls on each side.

Thanks for looking! If you like the blog, don’t hesitate to follow, I love comments and do post eye candy regularly (I promise :))
And have a look at the giveaway!
Smiles, Virginie ^_^

Lovely electric piece you created, I love the focal bead, I could lose myself in its design.
I also really like the use of jumprings as bead caps, cool and unique.
Hello Virginie. ^^
Wow, this is a beautiful jewelry set. Well done. I like the way you attached the focal bead with the wire. The combination of glass beads and sodalite beads looks great. And the earrings – I think the little bows are ‘the icing on the cake’. Sooooo sweet…
I’m very happy that you enjoyed the bead soup party so much and that you had fun with the ingredients.
Sonja

My favorite part of this necklace is how the spacers mimic the shapes in the lampworked bead. It looks great. You did a really good job.

Amazing soup! You’ve done a great job with it too, so pretty. I’m following!
First let me tell you that I think the earrings are darling! Is that correct English? They are so cute, I love them. Your necklace design brings out the beautiful focal bead and everything is put together so well. Lovely set, well done!
As much as I like the necklace, I just ADORE the little bowed earrings! It was definitely worth the time to make the bows (it would have been really difficult for me1) – they are just so cute I want to eat them!
You created a beautiful set! That lampwork focal is to die for. Lucky woman!
You are right about sophisticated…it is fantastic!!! It’s a great reminder of simply elegant, symmetric pieces. I get so wrapped up in adding things and trying odd things that I forget about how absolutely beautiful a piece can be that features a gorgeous focal and stunning stones. Love it!
That is truly beautiful! I love the blues with the silver!
Stunning set!!! love the little bows!
Love what you made and those bows are so cute! I posted a bit about it on my blog today!
